Kale Chips

Are you looking for a crunchy snack to satisfy your cravings for potato chips? Well, as you all may know, kale chips are perfect for this. They’re light, crispy, are full of vitamins and are without the cholesterol or unhealthy saturated / trans fats.

Making kale chips is easy – all you need is:

– 1 cup of chopped kale leaves
– a tablespoon of olive oil
– a dash/teaspoon of pepper or other spices, like cayenne pepper or paprika,
– Optional: spray bottle for the oil

Instructions:

– If washing the kale leaves, make sure you dry the leaves well between sheets of paper towel
– In a bowl, add the leaves, oil, seasoning, and mix/toss
– Once well mixed, spread in a single layer on the foil-lined tray
– Bake in 350ºF (180ºC) oven until crisp and dark green, 12 to 15 minutes.
