Ingredients
½ cup red wine
½ cup water
5-6 sweet onions finely cut into strips
4 cups organic beef stock
1tbsp grape seed oil
4-5 garlic cloves depending on size
2 tsp red wine vinegar
1 bay leaf
1tbsp tamari or soy sauce
¼ tsp dried rosemary
¼ tsp dried thyme
Sea salt and pepper to taste
Steps
Slice onions and add to the crock pot or large cooking pot. On high, let onion cook down for about 30-45 minutes.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and let simmer on low for 4-5 hours.
